Dr. Manisha Patel earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from Northwestern University in Chicago. She also holds a doctorate in Clinical Pharmacology from the Massachusetts College of Pharmacy (MCPHS). She serves on the faculty at MCPHS, where she teaches in the doctoral studies program.
Dr. Patel’s personal commitment to pursuing the art of dentistry led her to undertake several years of advanced training at the world-renowned Las Vegas Institute for Advanced Dental Studies (LVI). LVI is a prominent training center for advanced cosmetic dentistry, as well as complex oral reconstruction and rehabilitation. Dr. Patel is proud to be among the few dentists in the country to achieve LVI’s Fellowship status and is honored to be a clinical instructor at LVI, where dentists from around the world learn from her expertise. Dr. Patel also currently serves on the Board of Directors of the International Association of Comprehensive Aesthetics.
Dr. Patel has completed extensive training in the treatment of temporomandibular joint dysfunction (TMD). She is one of only two dentists in our state who uses sophisticated computerized instrumentation to diagnose and treat this disorder.
Dr. Patel is a highly respected lecturer, both nationally and internationally. She has lectured at numerous medical and dental teaching institutions in the United States and abroad on many of her areas of expertise. She has also had several articles published regarding the innovative treatment for headaches and TMD that she provides.
Dr. Patel’s keen attention to detail has made her one of New England’s best cosmetic and general dentists.
