Dr. John Walsh is a New England native who loves both the art and science of dentistry. Here at The Center for Contemporary Dentistry, he helps us to provide patients with advanced orthodontic services.

Education and Care Philosophy

Dr. Walsh completed his undergraduate degree in molecular and cell biology at the University of Connecticut, where he graduated Magna Cum Laude. Thereafter, he stayed a UConn Husky for another four years; he attended the University of Connecticut School of Dental Medicine, where he received his D.M.D. Immediately following dental school, he completed an additional three years of training in orthodontics at Montefiore Medical Center in New York City.

Dr. Walsh is an active member of the American Association of Orthodontists and the Northeastern Society of Orthodontists. He has extensive training in multi-disciplinary and surgical cases. He also has a strong background in orthodontic treatment with clear aligners. He keeps his knowledge of his craft up to date s by regularly attending seminars and courses. Dr. Walsh passion lies in creating healthy, beautiful smiles that stand the test of time. He always welcomes questions; he is never too busy to take the time to help patients thoroughly understand their oral health and their treatment options.

Beyond the Dental Office

Outside of the dental office, Dr. Walsh enjoys spending time in the great outdoors with his wife, Sarah, and their dog, Stella. He likes to ski, hike, surf, mountain bike, and practice photography. Even though he completed his residency in New York City, Dr. Walsh is an enthusiastic New England sports fan. He especially loves to root for the Patriots and Celtics.
